Vent Mount Bracket
Microhood mounting without a cabinet above?
I want to install a microhood above my stove, but I do not have a cabinet there. Can I install it with only the supplied wall bracket or must I purchase / create a fake cabinet-like top piece. I will be using a back vent so I don't need a place to hide that and the power outlet will be close to the top so it will not be too visible.
I have remodeled many kitchens in my day and this is a use I would never suggest. They are made to mount under cabinets not stand alone units.
