Tomtom One GPS
tomtom one gps says no maps found after update?
i just tried to update my tomtom one gps unit and when i disconnected from the computer and now it says no maps found and does not display anything but that. I restored it and still nothing. Please help.
I had the same problem on a One XL and found this useful info on a forum. It took a couple of goes and needed Home restarting, but it worked for me.

First of all connect your tomtom to your computer.
making sure your online,Go to log on.
if you’ve not created an account create one now.
If you’ve had to create an account restart tomtom home.
You should have the tomtom home screen in front of you,
Now even if tomtom home is showing you logged in, ignore
this click your email adderss in the top right hand side of the screen
and log in again and click continue.
Then click Device/disconnect device.
Now your tomtom will update itself and your maps will be restored"
