how do i mount and wire a cb?
i mounted my cb radio on the dash and want to mount my cb antenna on my bumper. how do i get the wire in the car attached to the cb. also i am putting my pa speaker in the hood. how do i get that wire to the cb inside the truck?
Run the wire through the trunk, find a place where the trunk lid won't pinch it too much. You can also drill a hole in the floor of the trunk and run the wire through it. Then you should be able to stick it between the cushions of the back seat. It might take two people to do this. One of them in the trunk sticking the wire through and one at the back door feeling under or behind the seat for the wire. Its better if you go to the trouble to run the wire under the carpet to up under the dash. The wire should already have a connector on the end, just screw it onto the back of the radio. For the PA wire you should look for a rubber gromet somewhere in the firewall. On the bottom side of one you can make a small hole with a screwdriver and stick the PA wire through into the car.
