will waas gps work in baja mexico ? before i buy a new gps with waas, I`d like to know if waas with work in ba?
i have a gps in my boat in baja and it works fine but I wanted to up grade to gps with waas and need to find out if waas with work before i buy a new gps . hope to hear from people that may use waas in baja or someone that knows alot about gps and waas thank you Tim
Since WAAS simply adds more accuracy to the current GPS system, yes it will work just fine.
You can check on coverage anytime just by using the "REAL-TIME WAAS COVERAGE MAP"

I use waas in aircraft and even when WAAS isn't being received you still have good GPS coverage.
